What is Magic Salt?

Magic Minus Zero™ is a highly effective liquid de-icing agent made from a patented blend of magnesium chloride and condensed distiller soluble. It is non-toxic, bio-degradable and has a corrosion index lower than distilled water.

Magic Salt™ is a highly effective ice melting granular product sold as bagged material for walkways or used in bulk form for roadway and parking facility applications.

Magic Salt™ starts out as ordinary rock salt which is treated with a liquid agricultural by-product of the distilling process blended with magnesium chloride. This patented liquid is trademarked as Magic Minus Zero™ and dramatically transforms rock salt into a new de-icing material trademarked as Magic Salt.

Magic Salt™ is safe to use on concrete, is non-corrosive, does not harm curbside grassed areas or plants and continues to melt ice in below zero temperatures.

Magic Minus Zero™ is also marketed under the name of Liquid Ice B’Gone™. These products are identical. All references to Magic Minus Zero™ also apply to Liquid Ice B’Gone™.
